The Story

Santalba are a family-run producer who have been working in the region since 1964 with a focus on sustainable farming, really high quality, low-yield grapes from old vines, and elegant oak use (they use a mix of American and French oak).

Taste

On the palate, vibrant acidity is balanced by gentle tannic grip, creating a wine of texture and character. A subtle saline note adds complexity, while the finish is persistent, slightly sweet-edged, and intriguingly savoury.
