Giorgio Pelissero is widely regarded as one of the best Barbaresco producers in the world.
Giorgio will be presenting and tastings 5 of the Pelissero wines. Afrim Pristine will be pairing the wines with fine cheeses.The Pelissero family has been cultivating vineyards in Treiso, in the heart of the Barbaresco DOCG appellation (Piedmont), for three generations. Many gradual changes have been performed by each successive generation, but the philosophy remains constant: continuous improvement in the vineyard and in the cellar to ensure the high quality of the wines every year. Today, the estate owns and manages 42 ha of indigenous vines in a completely sustainable way. Thanks to oenologist Giorgio Pelissero at the helm of the winery, Pelissero has grown into a highly revered brand for Barbaresco.
