Driven by a Passion for Wine:
Françoise and Stéphane Dief embarked on their winemaking journey in 1998, transforming their garage into a makeshift cellar. With meticulous attention to detail, they produced their first vintage of just 600 bottles. Over two decades, they expanded their estate to 18 hectares, investing in state-of-the-art facilities to preserve the integrity of their noble grapes.
Soil Management:
The vineyards of Clos Manou boast three distinct soil types—gravel, sand, and limestone—contributing to the complexity of the wines. Each parcel of vines is meticulously managed without the use of chemical weed killers, ensuring the pure expression of terroir.
Harvest and Vinification:
Grapes are handpicked at peak ripeness and undergo meticulous sorting before fermentation. The wines are aged in French oak barrels, enhancing their character and structure, culminating in exceptional bottles worthy of celebration.
