by Pasetti is crafted from 100% Montepulciano grapes, showcasing the rich character of this robust Italian varietal. The wine offers bold and complex tasting notes, with ripe dark fruits like blackberry and plum, complemented by hints of spice, tobacco, and a touch of vanilla from oak aging. This Riserva is aged for a minimum of 24 months, with at least 9 months spent in oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop depth and structure. It pairs beautifully with hearty dishes like lamb, beef stews, or aged cheeses. Pasetti, a family-run winery, is renowned for its dedication to expressing the unique terroir of the Abruzzo region, blending tradition with innovative techniques for exceptional quality.

The Story

The history of the Pasetti Winery goes back 5 generations. In the 60's, the winery started its own vinification with extremely positive results. In the 80's, Testarossa (which literally means "red head"), the flagship of the winery was born. Today, the Pasetti family still runs the winery.
