Domaine Tenuta Cafaggiolo—also known as “Cafaggiolo Terre dei Medici”—is a historic Tuscan estate in Mugello, about 25 km north of Florence, on land long held by the Medici family. Winemaking here dates back to 1465, and the estate now cultivates primarily organic Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir) along with small amounts of Chardonnay and rosé, using natural yeast fermentation, aging in small barrels, and no filtration to preserve aromatics and terroir expression.
