Made from a pinot-heavy blend in our nine favourite villages (mostly Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne), the Cuvé Brut Nature Premier Cru is the essence of purity. It is a true reflection of the immense quality of Cattier’s grapes and our skill in the winery. A true product of its exceptional terroir, it is characterised by its generosity and intense fruit-forward personality. 50% Meunier, 22% Pinot Noir, 28% Chardonnay. Fresh and enticing on the nose, toasty biscuit notes are the first to appear. This champagne offers a pale gold colour, broken only by a ribbon of fine bubbles. On the palate, it opens brightly with fresh notes of lime and pear.

The Story

The history of the Pasetti Winery goes back 5 generations. In the 60's, the winery started its own vinification with extremely positive results. In the 80's, Testarossa (which literally means "red head"), the flagship of the winery was born. Today, the Pasetti family still runs the winery.

The Cuvée Brut Nature 1er Cru is a superb accompaniment to a starter of chilled seafood, a sea bass ceviche or sea bass with citrus. It has the weight to support a scallop starter or main course too, and the complexity to match a young Comté (12 or 18 months).
