Clos Manou 2019

is a refined Bordeaux blend, primarily composed of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, showcasing the best of the Médoc region. This wine offers complex tasting notes of dark fruit such as blackberry, blackcurrant, and plum, complemented by layers of cedar, tobacco, and a subtle hint of vanilla from oak aging. Full-bodied with firm tannins and a long, elegant finish, it reflects the structure and depth characteristic of the estate. Aged in French oak barrels for around 12 to 18 months, Clos Manou pairs beautifully with roasted meats, duck confit, and mature cheeses. Clos Manou is a family-run estate, is known for its commitment to sustainable viticulture and traditional winemaking techniques, producing wines that authentically express the unique terroir of the Médoc.

The Story

Handed down from generation-togeneration, Coutet has been intimately related to the David Beaulieu family for at least 400 years. Three generations of the David Beulieu family are currently living on the property. Free of any chemical activities, their land is being studied by various scientific bodies.
