Brilliant floral and fruit filled Nebbiolo from our favourite subregion in the area, this is a wonderful expression of what Lombardy can offer. From a region that gets more sunshine hours than anywhere in Italy besides Sicily. Check out the map below to see how special the aspect and exposure are.Vinification: 100% Nebbiolo, hand harvested, fermented in stainless steel and aged for 14 months in large new French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Orange-tinged ruby robe, spice notes wrap around the cherries and roses on the nose and through the palate, which explodes with ripe and vibrant red fruits of all sorts.
Food: Lamb, beef, mushrooms, hard cheeses from the Cheese Boutique box, heavier pastas, anything with truffles.
Cellaring: Drink anytime in the next five years, but sooner is better with a bit of a decant.
