Organic. Nerelo Mascalese 98% and Nerello cappucio 2%. One of Terre Nere's 3 Grands Crus. Single vineyard wine from vines between 50-100 years, grown on very old volcanic soil. 16 -18 months ageing in French oak. Particularly complex and structured wine.

Food Pairings: Poultry, duck, red meats, mushroom risotto.

Tasting notes: Particularly rich and fruity with soft tannins, making it velvety and voluptuous on the palate.

“A hearty but super balanced Etna with Christmas cake, tar, dried hibiscus, candied strawberries and orange zest. Powerful and robust on the palate with foursquare tannins and loads of decadent fruit, but it’s all wrapped up in pointed acidity. An essay in depth and elegance. Drink from 2023.” James Suckling
